1. The title of "recrystallized silicon carbide", that is, the former "recrystallized silicon carbide" in the silicon carbon rod industry.
2. "Reaction sintered silicon carbide" is also expressed in ReSIC, and its meaning is different from SISIC, the difference is in the process difference, but the final composition of the product is still similar, so SISIC is used in the standard.
3. The code name of "oxide-bound silicon carbide" turned out to be "OC". At the Wuyishan Standards Review Meeting in December 2011, Zibo Qunqiang's suggestion was adopted and the code name was revised from "OC" to "OSIC".
