On March 23, 2017, the "National Glass Melting Kiln Safety and Environmental Protection Technology Seminar and Exchange Meeting" jointly organized by the Technical Advisory Committee of China Daily Glass Association and the Kiln Professional Committee of the Glass Branch of China Ceramic Society was successfully held in Luoyang New Friendship Hotel, Henan. Liaoyang Hongtu Carbide Co., Ltd. was invited to attend the meeting and communicate with enterprises from all walks of life.

At the meeting, industry experts read and discussed the environmental protection documents issued by the Ministry of Environmental Protection on the survival of glass enterprises and the spirit of the speeches of leaders in some professional meetings, and asked the participants to experience the importance of central policies to the survival of glass enterprises from these documents and the spirit of the speech. It is proposed that the main leaders and responsible persons of glass enterprises, refractory enterprises and other units pay more attention to the documents issued by the state and the Ministry of Environmental Protection, timely study and discover the important factors affecting the survival and development of glass enterprises and refractory enterprises, reflect whether the policies formulated are in line with the actual situation of international and domestic enterprises, and urge the superior departments to report and reflect the situation, and further discuss relevant issues in environmental protection.

4. Why does the EU stipulate that the NOx emission concentration (mg/Nm3) and the NOx emission (kg/t glass liquid) limits of special glass melting furnaces are 20% lower than the corresponding limits of ordinary glass melting furnaces?
　　
5. Why is it said that at present, some domestic units are going against EU regulations in ordinary glass (soda-lime glass) melting furnaces, and vigorously promoting denitration treatment is not supported by scientific basis and long-term practice of glass factories, and is driven by interests?

Professor Liang Dehai gave a lecture and analyzed the "Compilation of Professional Analysis Examples of Glass Melting Kiln Operation Accidents", through the explanation of 33 real examples, the participants deepened their understanding of cases and lessons to be learned, and prevented and reduced the occurrence of various accidents in glass furnaces and the annoying, time-consuming and energy-consuming legal disputes caused by accidents. The meeting also discussed the current hot issues in domestic glass kilns.

　　The successful holding of the "National Glass Melting Kiln Safety and Environmental Protection Technology Seminar and Exchange Conference" has built a good platform for scientific and technological workers in the glass industry and supporting industries to carry out academic exchanges, promote each other, cooperate closely, meet friends and enhance friendship.
